Is much stricter on break times allowing you only 10 minutes of break time after completing blocks 1 and 2, a 40-minute lunch break, and a 10-minute break after completing blocks 5 and 6. I am averaging 61 in uworld, with all questions done in timed, random and unused mode. Gosh, the Kaplan qbank, I tried during MS1 but they never updated the app and the computer version was randomly crashing on me when in a block. Additionally, the COMLEX: Is a longer test consisting of 400 questions divided into 8 blocks while the USMLE is 280 questions divided into 7 blocks. Yes, I was interested in knowing whether the mobile version was a shortened summary of explanations and information as opposed to the real computer experience. Even though some questions make you want to pull your hair apart. But just the sheer no of questions and topics they cover for step 2 makes it worth it. Yeah i feel content wise, uworld for step 1 was way better than step 2. But I don't think there's a way to keep track of new questions without keeping a running count of the unused questions breakdown numbers you see when creating a new block and noting changes in those numbers. Step 2 Uworld is very inferior to step 1 uworld. From my understanding, you can't view tests you took on a desktop on your mobile device, and you can only finish the block on the device you started it on.Īs for new questions, I don't think UW notifies you, however whenever you answer a question, I'm sure you've seen the "last edited" date on the bottom of the page, so that can sometimes hint at either a new question or a recently updated one.

I'd obviously prefer my iPad to my phone and since I didn't really care about the UI and it mimicking the test, I preferred my iPad to my laptop as well.īut I think you can get by taking the blocks on your iPad, if you have one, and reviewing them on your phone. I found it to be simple to use and relatively easy to read. I used it on my iPad to actually take the blocks and reviewed on the go sometimes with my phone. However, when it comes to reviewing answer choices and viewing diagrams, I think it does a fine job. The mobile app is not set up like the actual exam, so if you're looking for that experience, stick to the desktop version.
